The century-old Franklin Armory has been the home of the Wild West Museum since 1984, when Dan Hardesty Sr. purchased the somewhat dilapidated three-story brick building. Massive renovations brought the Armory back to life, and Hardesty then filled the maze of rooms with his lifetime collection of antiques and novelties.
